About Bonefish Marine

Your boat is in skilled hands at Bonefish Marine. Owner Brendan Neibrandt has been in the boat business for over 25 years. Brendan’s career in boat service and repair began at the Boathouse in Salmon Arm, where he spent five years learning the trade. From there, Brendan worked in Red Deer for 13 years, spent nine years in Fort McMurray and has now established his own business – Bonefish Marine – in Sylvan Lake.

Originally from Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Brendan’s career in marine service and repair started quite by accident. While on vacation to the Shuswap in 1993, Brendan’s rented boat broken down, leaving him stranded on the water. Determined to continue and enjoy his holiday, Brendan repaired the boat. With repairs completed, Brendan knew it was time for a career change. He began his schooling in Kamloops and, in three years, completed his apprenticeship. And the rest, as they say, is history!
